Hello everbody,
within the last 18 month my mother (52 years old) got the diagnosis to have the vitreoretinal traction syndrom on both eyes (reducing here eyesight to 70% presently) and the carpal tunnel syndrom on both hands (she now had a surgery on of the hands which was quite helpful).
The operation for the vitreoretinal traction syndrom seems complicated and risky and we would like to avoid it. To me it seems that there should be a common reason for all these problems, and if one would find it a medication may be possible. Searching the internet I found multiple sclerosis as a possible cause for both diseases, but I could not really find a good website explaining that further. I would be very grateful for any further suggestions and helpful links on the matter.
Thanks a lot and best regards
Martin
