Hey all, I'm currently set up to do VRT for whatever problem I have, it's either a utricular dysfunction or base line injury to the inner ear. Had this problem on and off for the last 5 years, has anyone ever heard of steroid injections? My otoneurologist says it's a fine needle that they inject to your ear...Are there any positive outcomes from this? thx!

I know of someone that had it for menieres, they haven't had another attack since they had it done 2 years ago, she had to beg them to do it as the risks were high on causing further damage, at the time she was really ill, she had to give up work and had to rely on family to look after her young children, so it was a gamble she was prepared to take.
I know no further details. . . .sorry.
Jayne
