My 4 1/2 month old is teething, I've given him orajel but that dosen't seem to work. I was wondering if it was ok to him tylenol for his teething?

i gave it to my daughter at 4 months and it seemed to help her.

yes yes yes...lol..thats the only thing that helped my son...i tried orajel, teething tablets, teething rings, cold washcloths, everything...you can give tylenol every 4 hrs and it helped DS a lot!!

I gave my dd tylenol at 4 months also. I used the orajel also because it took about 30 min for the tylenol to work.I think you to use just a quarter of a dropper though for under six months! Help this helps!:)

Hylands Teething Gel or Camilia drops work great too.

how do you know baby is teething? i have a soon to be 5 month old ds and she's drooling alot more and shoving a finger in her mouth alot more than normal. but, i felt around and don't feel anything in her mouth. she's also got a cold.

could she be teething???:confused:

She could be. Teething signs are usually

-Fussy Babe
-Fingers in mouth...more than normal
-Lots of drool
-Fever
-Waking up crying more than normal
-Sucking on your fingers and hands
-Puffy white or blue gums
-Runny Nose
-Diarrhea
