I have one of those activity centers that I cannot live without. DS sits in the center of it and toys are all around. He can move around in a circle in it b/c it spins. It is a lifesaver.
When he gets sick of the center and his toys, it is out the door we go for a walk in the stroller.

Try a Jumperoo, my DD has always loved her's and I have several friends with babies who also really like them.

I'm probably considered the crunchy nut around here, but my suggestion is by a sling and put her on you. She'll really enjoy watching you do things around the house or outside. A nice view and close to mom. Can't beat that!

My DD is the same age and she has always gotten bored very quickly. We do a lot of walking with the stroller. I try to take her to see new things like fountains, flowers or animals (whatever I can find in town). What she really loves is watching the older kids at the play ground. We walk there and then i just hold her on my lap while she follows the kids with her eyes. I also walk the dog with her 3 or 4 times a day. I put her in the Baby Bjorn facing forward and she loves it. We use the Bjorn in the house too.
Another thing she loves is exploring non-toys. I give her the remote or my watch or a rice cake. Anything new, but of course I watch her closely. I love watching her explore something new. She gets so excited. Right now she's going through the desk drawer. Yikes!

I use a jumparoo, swing and her play pen. If you put her toys in there she will LEARN to entertain herself.

A blanket on the floor, a mom sitting nearby (not necessarily focused 100% on baby), and a variety of toys for her to stretch out to get so she can play. I would recommend not keeping your baby "cooped up" or "strapped in" all day... let her roam and explore!
