The Pumping Station has 3 different workouts for BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, & ADVANCED, and even though they seem very straight forward and simple enough to follow; for some reason they just seem a little too cookie-cutter to me, but then again i'm not exactly a master at the art of weight training.
what are some of your guys' opinions on these basic workouts? do you find them effective?
the reason i ask is because i'm the worst at coming up with routines on my own. i usually take whatever works best for the majority and the people that think the way i do, but later on i might alter it a little.

i have my own workout. It is customized on what makes my body grow best. I suggest you experiment. Also change it up alot, your body is smart and can get used to workouts very fast. Use variations.

thanx man, appreciate that, but what i really wanted to know where people's opinions on the effectiveness of these workouts i was talking about.
i wouldn't consider myself a rookie when it comes to training, but i would when it comes to designing a workout. to me, it doesn't make sense to make a workout from scratch if you don't really don't know what your doing, which is why i take other workouts and alter those bit by bit to what i respond to the best. i hope that makes some sense

on a side note, i have a question about arranging my excercises. right now i'm doing a full body workout, so i do squats, bench, deadlift, etc. anyway, i want to know if i should do all these compound excecises first, or spread them out since i'm doing a full body. the reason i ask is because it just seems so exhausting when i have to do one compound excecise right after the other
