This has been said about a million times before but here goes again: There is no such thing as "spot reducing". In other words, you cannot pick from which areas on your body you want to lose fat. The "problem" areas are the ones that gain fat first and are the LAST to show fat loss. That's just how our bodies work and there is nothing that can be done about that. In order to lose ANY fat you have to do a lot of good cardio and follow a healthy, LOW calorie diet (500 calories less than required for maintanance of your current weight). You can calculate your maitainance calories just multiply your curent weight by about 12. The actual number to multiply by depends a great deal on your current level of activity. Weight training will help you to keep your muscle mass while losing fat. Eventually, when you lose enough overall fat, the "problem" areas will also show loss of fat.
