My LEEP was in October, and my CKC was in early December. The margins on the CKC were, as my doctor said, "wide and clear" so she told me I didn't have to have a follow-up until now (4 months later). I don't expect her to find anything, but I am nervous anyway! Having the carcinoma in situ was so scary and I just dread it ever coming back. Ugh. The pap this morning is no big deal, but waiting for the results will be nerve wracking.

I know how scary this can be. I've had bad Paps, then good Paps, then bad Paps again. It's like a rollercoaster ride!

I'll be keeping all available appendages crossed that all will be well for you. :)

The appointment is over, and my doc said she'd call me within two weeks with results.... the waiting! Ahhhh! I'll drive myself nuts! :dizzy:

good luck sippycup..I can understand the anxiety..but it won't help much getting stressed. Just relax and think of how lucky you've been to catch it on time and put all under control...think positive and let us know :)

I hope all goes well for you Sippy. I'll be going through exactly what you're going through right now in the end of June (my first PAP after my LEEP). I can only hope both of ours come back as normal!

I think the waiting for the results is the worst part!! My gyn's office has an automated system where you call in with a password for your results. I usually start calling days before I know the results could possibly be in.

But what I hate even more is when, after being told to call the automated system, I get a call left on my answering machine at 4:58 p.m. on a Friday asking me to call the office as soon as possible to discuss the results of my Pap or biopsy. And the office closes at 5 p.m.! And I have to wait the whole weekend, knowing there is a problem or the results would have been posted on the automated system or they wouldn't have called me. ARRRGGGHH!! It's enough to make you want to pull your hair out!

Anyway, end of rant. I hope your results are good. Again, I'll be keeping you in my prayers that everything is normal.
