I am extremely anxious about having labiaplasty in a few days. I'm 27 and have 2 kids (3 & 6). The doctor performing my surgery is Pamela Loftus. Has anyone heard of her? Or had experience with her? I have never met her, but I have looked her up a lot. I know she's legit. I'm just nervous. I haven't told anyone about the surgery except my husband, so I don't have anyone female to talk to about this. It would be great to hear from someone who has been through this. What are your pros and cons? What are your feelings before having the surgery? Thanks!!

How did the surgery go? My wife is considering the surgery. I would like you hear your commits on the surgery to this point. Keep us posted on your recovery. Hope all is well. :)

Hey, the surgery went well. The doctor numbed the area and I felt no pain, just some pressure. The numbing shots hurt, but it was bearable. I guess the it took an hour-I didn't have a clock to look at... That night I had soreness and had to sit on rolled towels ALL NIGHT--NO SLEEP!! But it's so much better now. The soreness is gone. Has been for 2 days. She didn't prescribe any pain medicine. Just had me buy over-the-counter quick release medicine. I was worried about that, but it turned out fine. I'm just waiting for swelling to go away. I'm not looking forward to the itchiness while healing... I'm supposed to apply pressure for 8 weeks, and no sexual acts at all for that long, but I've read on other surgeon's sites that you can resume sex after 6 weeks, and oral earlier than that. So I'm gonna monitor things on my own. If I have ANY doubts I'll hold on for 8, but 6 sounds good. The doctor was very strict about everything so she may just be over-cautious... I hope this info. helps y'all. Good luck. If anyone else has healing stories, pls share. Thanks!

I am very interested in this surgery, and actually, before I found this website, I was researching Dr. Loftus too. I am looking for a female doctor and I am willing to travel (I live in Dallas).
How much does the procedure cost?
The only reason that I ask is because I'm a student and would like to get some information to see if I can afford to get this done this summer.
Thanks so much!!

Hey, the surgery itself cost $5000-$6000--depending on your particular situation. You have to be prepared to spend $200-300 on supplies and then traveling expenses of course.
