Hi.... I am 37 yrs. old and belive I am in perimenopause... this is just great..... my family dr. said she also thought it could totally be possible. I have to have Ambien to sleep, I get night and day time SWEATING breakouts, I am full of Anxiety - my BP is up and my periods went from being nice and lite to HEAVY and I am MEAN out of control during PMS time.

Since switching to using Birth Control I am way better - but I still have the above symptoms just not as bad... I was on seasonique but today the dr. switched me to seasonale and I am going on a diuretic/bp pill type drug. Just wondering if anyone was on here that is in their 30's or early 40's experiencing this.... Dr. told me I can do this for 5 - 10 yrs. great... the only upside is that it will be over before or by the time I am 47.

Hi. I had night sweats for a couple years at about the same age you are. Then was fairly "normal" for a few years. Now I'm turing into a wreck. Still have periods, but a bit more irregularly spaced.
Read up and learn what you can. Wish I had good answers, but I'm trying to figure this all out myself.
