Hi,
I've been getting some very odd pains lately and I am actually due to go and see my OBGYN tomorrow, but I wondered if someone could answer a question.
I am having the following symptoms: long periods, lower back pain, dizziness, tiredness, nausea, pain in my left ovary and occasional stabbing pains in my pelvis, a feeling of fullness around my lower womb area, diarreah and now constipation and I am wondering if it is anything serious. I do have polycystic ovaries, so maybe this has something to do with the symptoms? However, this is a recent change. What could these symptoms be a sign of if it is not a serious thing?
I had an HSG recently, to see if my fallopian tubes were open, which they were. My endo saw that I had a slight dip in my Uterus, but did not say that he saw anything unusual about my ovaries and I am guessing he'd be looking pretty hard at that area due to the nature of the test.
My long winded question is, if I had something wrong, such as possible ovarian cancer, would he have seen something on the screen? An HSG uses dye and x-ray, and not ultrasound. Could an HSG bring on any problems?
Your answers would be greatly appreciated - I've been a bit worried about the recent changes that have been going on.
