Hi, I have been on a pretty good routine for a few months now and I have seen pretty good results. My routine looks like this:
Monday: Chest/Back
Tuesday: Biceps/Triceps
Wednesday: Shoulders/Traps
Thursday:Chest/Back (same as monday)
Friday: Biceps/Triceps (same as tuesday)
Saturday: Shoulders/ Traps (same as wendesday)
Sunday: Abs/Cardio

My problem is that I can not find a good time to do legs and I also want to do my abs around 3 times a week instead of once. Can someone please tell me what the ideal solution for me is. Keep in mind I have no longer than an hour to work out on Monday-Wednesday due to class schedules and I dont like being in the gym for longer than 1:15. Thank you very much for your help!

Maybe its time to change your routine once more. Most people only workout each muscle group 1 time per week. Two times a week is good for starting out, but you've been at it for a while now. Ill recomend a routine, you can use it if you want.

Day1 Chest/Tri
Day2 Back/Biceps
Day3 abs&calfs
Day4 Shoulders/Traps
Day5 Legs
Day6 abs&calfs
Day7 OFF

Abs are like any other muscle and need there rest too. Twice per week should be just enough if your using weights. If your not using weights then you could do them 4-5 times per week at home in the morning or when you have time. You should take at least one day a week off to recover. Also, your workouts should last no more than 1 hour in order to prevent over-training.

There's alot of other routines out there too. Change is the key to growth. :)

Just don't forget that your legs are the biggest part of your body!!!!!!!!

I dont really understand the question. What does your split look like?

yae sorry about that. not much clarity in that. when i was reading the Bicep Blast thing it said to train your arms every 4 days or you'll overtrain. i dont believe that bicep blast cause it seems to good to be true but the overtraining thing sounds right. anyway my split looks like

monday - chest/tri
tuesday- back/bicep
wednsday-legs/abs/calfs

then i have trouble for shoulders. i dont know where to put them in. for shoulders i get the best growth from pressing movements. Things like Arnold Press, Military press and neutral press and then some upright rows. I want those in my shoulder routine but supposedly in a split you only work each muscle group once a week.but if i do a shoulder day wont that work the triceps and screw up the whole flow for the triceps making everything except them grow? How should i fit shoulders into my routine? if you have any more questions about this just email me

thanx-james
