View Full Version : Your insurance might pay for your "special" formula

For any of you who have to have your baby on a "special" formula you might want to see if your doctor can write a prescription and have your insurance pay for it. My son had a allergic reaction to the regular Infamil and also had colic. The doctor prescribed us Nutramigen (which was VERY expensive) and our insurance paid for half of it. It's something I think is worth looking into.:wave:

Meechiney sorry that baby is in need of this type of formula. My sister in law went through this and wound up having to put baby on Carnation good start, the Neutramigen didnt work but hte good start did. Her dd was so colicky. Hugs to you.
