View Full Version : Need the reassurance... I guess

Was involved in a brief past relationship last summer with a girl whose status I do not know and never will. Engaged in unprotected oral sex both ways. Soon after I got a really bad sore throat, which went away a short time after. What makes matters worse is that I have wisdom teeth pulled 2 months prior to this. I tested for peace of mind at 3 and 6 months- Both negative.

Can I finally put this worry to rest for good? Seems to pop in my mind every once in a while and I want to move on with my life that I once had. I feel like I spent a whole year in constant worry/stress/speculation.

first thing is you don't even know if your partner was infected and the 2nd thing is that at 3 months a test is considered conclusive.
move on and put it behind you. good luck!

As already said, yes you can lay this to rest, your tests are conclusion.

Equally so, studies show that HIV is not transmitted by oral sex. To ease your mind if you do a search on oral sex and HIV transmission you will find plenty of studeis that endorse this.

Take care, rest easy, enjoy your life. Kevin
