My dd just turned one and doc wants her on whole milk, I have tried everything, she is so picky!! She loves her bottle still and She drank some lactade last night when she got me up, she refuses the milk 99% of the time, i called the doc and they told me to give her half formula, switch the bottle in her and give the rest milk and she pushes it away!
anyone else have this problem?

Hello! First of all there is no "magic" to switching to whole milk at one year, it is just the time that you CAN switch. My DS is 18 mos and still gets toddler formula mixed with his whole milk sometimes. When we started whole milk we did one fourth milk and three fourths formula and then increased from there, but you could do mostly formula and a splash of milk. Also think about the temperature. We did room temp formula so at first we heated the milk a little so it wasn't shockingly cold.

We did ours in the bottle, but some have luck trying whole milk in a sippy or straw cup. I wouldn't stress over it at this point. Just do it gradually-- she will not suffer from continuing the formula. Good luck!
