Hello...
I have a strange question.... I've been on Tregretol since January 07... I went through all the side effect hell that comes along with it, for the past couple of days it seems the side effects came back? Does this make sense? I've never heard of this happening, they are definite Tegretol side effects because it's effecting my vision to where I can't see anything and everything is moving up and down in a fast pace... It's been going on all week. I work full time and have a child so I've been timing my medication intake to when I get to work (it usually last 2 hours).. It's horrible I keep one eye shut so I can make out what I'm reading... My work hasn't caught on yet.

Did you recently having a change in dosage? If not I would call your pdoc and explain what is going on. There are other mood stabilizers out there that don't have these side effects. I would think that a 4-month trial should be about long enough to determine if you can work with it or not.

My dosage is exactly the same???

Has anything else changed recently, chemically I mean? Like, are you taking any new additional meds, supplements, vitamins? Anything like that? I am so sorry you are experiencing these side effects again! You're right that it is weird for that to happen. I'm sorry I can't be more help:( I don't know anyone who takes Tegratol personally.
