So for the past say, week ive had a dental abscess.. about 3 days ago i went to see a dentist, he put me on 250MB Amoxicillin antibiotics, 3 times a day.

basically, the pain isnt as bad as it was but i woke up today with intense pain in my jaw, and my tooth next to the infected one is slack? im able to move it kinda  and the infected tooth is VERY sensitive, i swallow, i get pain in my tooth, if that makes sense.. so im thinking about making it 4 amoxicillin pills a day, so i have one for when im sleeping at night.. basically i was thinking (one at 9am when i wake up, another at 2 pm (lunch basically ) then one at 7PM, then another at 11-12 when i go to sleep) do you think that would be alright?

im also taking paracetamol and ibrufeon for the pain, its helping a bit but its still coming back i guess, any help or advice would be great.

Take the dosage that the doctor instructed you to take. Antibiotics work because you keep a certain blood level of the medication (to over sumplify :) ), and taking more won't help. Plus then you run out of them before the prescribed course (of days) is done.
