Hi everyone,
I have been in a lot of pain lately and also have been packing on the pounds because I haven't been able to move that much. I also have a desk job and so, it is easy to pack on the pounds that way too from sitting all day. Anyone have any ideas on what kind of exercises I should do?
Thanks!

I do yoga. Aquatherapy is supposed to be good as well as pilates, too.
:)
Good luck!

I walk on the treadmill everyday. I had to start slow at first and I have days when I feel lousy and don't want to but it makes me feel better. I also do low stress yoga a couple times a week and work out on a Total Gym machine at least once a week. It all helps. Good luck.

Low impact aerobics are great. I haven't done yoga but I hear it is really great. I also do the treadmill and some weights and ball work and stretching exercises. The key to it is to start very slow and work your way up, and when you are feeling a flare coming on slow down again and stop if need be but don't stay away too long.

I usually walk at least a mile every evening and then do light weight exercises. Unfortunately (?) I live in south Florida and it is already getting hot and humid and realy wipes me out - harder and harder to do the walking even though I wait until around 7PM. Does the heat get to everyone or is it just that I am getting older and less heat tolerant - especially the hot sun.
