I know you aren't supposed to take St Johns Wort while you're using birth control. I'm not sexually active, I went on birth control for heavy bleeding and very strong cramps. I have very mild depression (not to the point where I believe I should be on prescription drugs) but enough that I'd like a little something to help. Does taking SJW make the birth control pills less effective? I don't care about that, because like I mentioned I'm not sexually active. But, if it does something harmful or mess up my cycle then I'll stay away from them.
