My younger brother got a skin allergy, doctor prescribed him ( Aerius ).
His first encounter with the medicine was ok, then when he took it again cpl days later, he complained that the allergy didn't go and the itching just came back. I gave him claritine and it seems that its not working..
Am confused, is this a hypersensitivity reaction due to loratidine? :confused:
I'll be consulting a doctor about it, but i i'd like to know if (Fenistil) Dimethindene maleate would be better for his situation.

Hi there, how's your younger brother doing? If a medicine suddenly seems to stop working doesn't just mean he's allergic or some bad reaction to it. It might be that his allergy is just getting bad and need a higher dose or another type of anti-histamine.
