From my research that it worked well against Epivir (hbv drug) resistant virus and it has not develop new resistant stains. Also, viral load had dip to undetectable for 2 people/story (see below link).
Please share your experience, did you fail epivir, length of time on tenofovir, enzyme level and viral load. I am thinking about taking it.

Did it also work well with HIV?

when i had been infected with hiv, i know they did check me a few times for hep b and c and told me that it was not uncommon for other stuff to piggyback when you get infected with hiv as that happened to me but i had spinal meningitious not hep. i read those links and from what i saw is they do a similar thing like hiv, when your resistance to a drug builds up and the drug won't work for you they will switch it to one that does. i don't know if it would be wise to do that or not for you as you could be burning up your options of drug therapies and could run out of them.that one guy is doing stuff that is very experimental and i would wait and see his results before doing anything like he is.
my advice would be to talk to a few id docs and get a few opinions and hear the options and the good and bad before making any choices.another opinion will never hurt you. good luck

and also here is a quote from one of those articles that agrees with what i said

Given the potential for early HBV resistance, and future cross-resistance, patients should discuss their first and subsequent antiviral choices carefully with their doctors.
