Hi,
I hope someone can help me with this one. I also dont really know how to explain it but I'll do my best. Sometimes, more lately, if I am about to lose my temper or if I get upset or angry, I get this weird sort of woozy, zapping, passing out feeling that lasts a second then it goes away. its just a bit strange and scary because i don't know what it is. last night it happened twice. I was cut off by this guy in his car and I sped up to show him i was upset, as i did this I got this feeling and afterwards i got a headache, which today i still have a bit. Not sure if the headaches are related but these zappy feeling in my brain from this is a bit scary. Does anyone have this happen to them.
I hope this explains it

Hi,
I was cut off by this guy in his car and I sped up to show him i was upset,
Hey cowboy, I wonder if it has anything to do with an adrenaline rush. Do you have high blood pressure? Have you had a physical lately? Hey cowboy, I hope you realize that you can CHOOSE to not react to things like you mentioned above. What good did it do to show this guy that you were upset? You can choose to not let irritating things like this bother you. It really works. You can draw a line on certain things and you really won't get upset anymore. There are rude and upsetting people all over the place. You can choose to not react to them, this way you have control over yourself and you don't give this control to others. This is especially important when you don't give your control over to idiots.

Cowboy, a BP of 150/95 is very high. Are you getting this treated? I would think that adding a littel adrenaline to that BP could take it up to a dangerous level.

hi,
thanks for that..this maybe true but 150 over 95 is not that high. I'v seen many doctors and my dad has bp 160 over 94 and he is fine. its not always 150. i have a home monitor and it varies in readings from 129 to 150 systolic. I really doubt its the blood pressure. Plus i have has these readings and higher for 10 years and never had this before. So I was thinking BP but it does not make sense that it would come about out of the blue like that. Who knows though the body is a weird entity
cheers>

Cowboy, it didn't come out of the blue. You get angry, you release adrenaline, adrenaline increases blood pressure. I would get a second opinion on the blood pressure?

maybe!!! I'll check with my GP tomorrow when i see him. what i meant by out of the blue is I have been angry before when my bp was higher and i did not get this sensation. could be age too. Im 35 now not 25 anymore :)
thanks

Hi
I think its your "fight or flight" response. (adrenaline) Do square breathing it helps. :)
