Hey guys,
I found this board actually searching for rhythmic movement disorder information. Ever since I was little (I'm 23 now) I have banged my head on my pillow at night and sometimes moan when doing it too (it used to drive my sister nuts when we shared a room). In my teens I started banging my leg instead sometimes. It seemed like it had settled down but recently it's gotten bad again and driving my boyfriend nuts. He said the last couple nights not only have I been banging my head regularly but I'm also changing positions almost every hour. I wake up in the morning and don't remember having a restless night, but do notice that I'm tired during the day. I'm thinking of seeking treatment. Has anyone else with head banging or similar issues found treatment that works?
Thanks!
