Well I had 4 follies on one ovary largest one @ 12.49 and 3 follies on the other lrgest one at 11. Boy they sure are growing slow this cycle. They still aren't increasing my follistim. I was sure they would. My last cycle before I conceived with my son I was using 4 vials of Bravelle per day. But I'm with a new RE now and hes afraid I will hiperstimulate. I go back on thursday for CD16 U/S. Then they said I will probably have to use antagon injections so I won't ovulate until they are big enough. Wish my old RE hadn't left.

I'm sorry things are going as well as you'd hoped. It's hard to put our faith in the doctor sometimes, especially when they seem too conservative. Hang in there, hopefully your son will soon have a little brother or sister.

Hi KJ - Although I understand your frustration dealing with a new RE, esp when you already had success with a prior, I don't think your #'s sound all that bad. Follies grow between 1 and 3mm per day, so if they are gonna keep you on the follistim, I think you will still have an excellent shot this cycle. I've read that once they hit 15 there is a pretty good chance of a viable egg which could implant. I really think you are gonna be much happier with the next u/s and I wish you all the luck that your follies keep growing!!! Positive baby vibes coming your way **********

Thanks Kari and Vik I guess I am just familiar with the way my old RE did things and a little anxious on top of that. Keeping my fingers crossed they will be ready by thursday. Thanks again for your support.

Hi Kelly, I don't think your follies sound too small either. Try to hang in there. You're doing just fine. Sending lots of follie growing power your way. ;)

Thanks Holly, I appreciate that.

What CD does everyone else usually do their IUI's? My previous cycles I usually had my IUI on about CD 12.

Everyone is different. I've heard of women having them done on CD 11, but I am a late O'er. My IUI was on CD 18. As long as the follies are still growing, you are still in the game. :) Good luck!!

Thanks Holly, that really makes me feel better knowing someone else is like me. I have PCOS so they are afraid I will hyperstimuate. I go back Thursday for CD16 U/S. Hope they are ready then.

Glad I could help. :) I always used to stress about being a late O'er and think that I was behind everybody else. These boards helped me learn that we are all a little different and that has helped me relax a lot. Let me know everything goes on Thursday. I'll be rooting for you!
