Ok so i work out quite often and look and feel in decent shape but today i was playing some football and i got like dizzy spells after running and stopping and changing direction and stuff. I dont know what it is, this actually happens to me when i play some time of sport that involves alot of stop and go activity. It usually happens when im trying to catch my breath (crouching position to standing up straight) and all of a sudden i get that lightheaded feeling and sometimes my vision gets blurry but it always goes away in a few seconds.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Or does anyone know what it could be? I do alot of hiit cardio and i dont get it then, and it has happend after doin some lifing though.

Might be low blood sugar or just standing up too fast. Make sure you're hydrated when doing intense workouts, have some kind of sports drink or something available, and stand up more slowly if you need to. See if that helps at all.

you feel light headed cuz your blood flow to the brain gets reduced due to the rapid change in blood pressure. any time you stand up your blood will rush to the legs, and most likely after you stop an activity to rest the pressure also drops.

i would tell a doc about this though if you get it ALL THE TIME, cuz that could be a heart issue. he'll just take your blood pressure.
