hello,

I am thinking of getting a tattoo but i am HIV+, is it ok to get one???????? :confused:

this is imo hard to answer,i think they use disposable needles so you wouldn't have to worry much from spreading anything.i would be nervous from infection and healing of the tat more then anything else.what ever you decide i would ck with my doctor first to be sure. good luck

Definately ask your Dr first. You could also call around to different tattoo shops and see what they do with the needles used for tattoos, and if they have to do something different with people with HIV, AIDS, Hep C.. etc. I am sure they are disposable, but it's worth asking. I also agree with Smiteler about it 'wound' healing.
