Have been using bi-est cream made up by compounding pharmacy for 10 days -- rub 1 gram in forearms twice a day. I have only noticed about a 40% improvement in my brain fog, tremors, hot flashes.

What's going on? Hormone consultant from compounding pharmacy says to give it more time, but I am desperate! I have to get back to work and have a functioning brain.

Would it be better for me to go back on Vivelle patch (also bioidentical) where estrogen is constant in body?

Vivelle patch only goes up to 1 mg. Any thoughts?

Hi:

I use a bioidentical progesterone cream and I found it did take time for it to become totally effective. My container says that some women see results in 2 wks, others can take up to 2 months to really see results.

I started seeing great changes after two months. I now feel totally fine, all my issues are pretty well gone.
