Well tomorrow is my birthday and big surgery. Wouldn't it be nice to send DH to be my proxy! LOL I'm trying to be optomistic that this new year brings BFP. So, tomorrow is my laparoscopic myomectomy and also hysteroscopic myomectomy. Only the endometrial polyps and a few of the fibroids can be taken care of via hysterscopic method. The larger fibroids have to be done laprascopically. So, I get to get up at 2am to apply the tabs to dialate my cervix. RE was careful to warn me that the largest fibroid (almost 4") means I have about 30% chance he'll have to open me up completely for hysterectomy. I'm really trying not to focus on that! Rather that I'm going to emerge from the fog of general anesthesia with a nice "Repaired" uterus. I'll need to start BCP evening after surgery and apply Estrace vaginally twice a day for 21 days. But hopefully in 8 weeks I'll be healed enough for first IUI round. Chances for implantation will have improved greatly. Fingers crossed!

it would be rather ironic to wish you a happy birthday. . .. . . .so i am just gonna pray that things will go on smoothly for you tomorrow .
Hopefully the surgery will result in a better environment for that beanie to grow in 8 weeks time.
It must not be easy. . . .though think of this procedure as the journey you need to take to bring home your little one.

Yigo, good luck tomorrow. I think birthdays are lucky! I had my FET the day before my birthday and all is going well, so I think you'll have a great birthday present too (or at least get the prep work out of the way!) Get lots of rest, and let us know how everything went!

You have such a great positive attitude! My birthday wish for you is that this is the last surgery you ever have to have before your BFP! When you are feeling up to it, please let us know that the only thing holding you back is your recovery! Take it extra easy, and Happy Birthday tomorrow!
