So my son has been on whole milk for a month and now all of a sudden he has been spitting up, almost puking up his milk. Its very smelly and like cottage cheese. I really didnt want to describe it that way. I love my cottage cheese, next time maybe not. ARGH!!!
Anyway, anyone having this issue.

Its only when he drinks his milk. Is he drinking too much? Can he be allergic?
Im so confused, I find myself not giving it to him much lately.

Thanks
Meg

It could definately be a milk allergy. I would call the ped- they can refer you to an allergist to have him tested for it.

Wouldnt it have shown up before now. He has always been on milk based formula!

I could be an allergy, but like you said, it would have shown up with he milk based formula. My son had allergies to milk and we had to switch to soy formula, then on to soy milk. He never once threw up the milk, just got a terribly runny nose and very dry skin, to the point of bleeding. When he was an infant, he was very uncomfortable after drinking milk formula. That doesn't sound like your issue. Try using soy milk for a bit and see if your child likes it or can keep it down. It may help. Good luck!

how old is he? I would call ped and keep him off milk until you figure this out. If he is over 12 months he can be on just water. No juice but that is just me. Or use lactaid and see what happens. I love lactaid, its so much sweeter.
