View Full Version : Is this Hep B?

I've been fatigued and have had a sore/stiff neck (muscle) since January of 2006. I've been through every doctor I could think of and have tried TONS of herbs, and meds.

Before this happened, I was in perfect shape. I've never done any drugs. I'm now married (1.8 years) and have been completely faithful. Even before being married, I was completely faithful.

I finally went and saw an infectious disease doctor. My labs are as shown

Hep B Surface Ab 0.0-8.9 Mine was 69.5

To my knowledge, I've never had a Hep shot. I've never worked in the medical field or anywhere requiring this.

Could this be in my system this long and cause these problems?

Is this treatable? I'm not looking to be cured, but atleast free of the symptoms.

Thanks!

this is an incomplete test result for hep b. you would usually get antigen results (ag) as well as antibody (ab) results. the fact that you show surface antibodies to hep b usually results from vaccination or antibodies passed from mom to baby, and usually means, in fact, that you are immune.
if you were not given the antigen results cause they were zero or something like that, then your result is a very good one.
i'd ask for the whole bunch though.
