Hello to all!

This is my first post...sounds like it will be a great place:wave:

I'm hoping to get some info so that I can move on with my life and start feeling better again. Here's a bit on me: Belching and chest pain started 6 months ago. Diagnosed with Gastritis and H-pylori 4 months ago. H-pylori is GONE! Just diagnosed with Non Specific Chronic Gastritis (2nd endoscopy) and a Gluten intolerance (no celiac gene). I also started having this knawing pain and ache under my right rib cage. It starts in the middle and wraps around toward my back under my armpit....odd!!!
I do not smoke, drink, take asprin..nothing that would cause gastritis!!! (FYI -I'm 26 yrs old).

PLEASE HELP:confused:
Could the gluten intolerance have caused this Gastritis? What could cause gastritis to become chronic. I still have belching constantly!!! I need to get his resolved....I have to have invitro fertilzation so that we can have a family!!!! And I have to get better first.

Ideas..thoughts...suggestions???
Thanks to all and I look forward to meeting you;)

I was diagnosed with the same thing. I was told by my Dr. that it "could" be caused by a number of things--one being bile reflux--bile backing up into the stomach. Others were bad diet, H. Pylori and taking Ibuprofen--none of which would apply to me besides possibly bad diet which I have changed and still no difference in symptoms.
Have you had an ultrasound or Hida Scan of your gallbladder? The pain under the right rib cage and going to the back sounds like your gallbladder acting up. I had mine removed over 2 years ago and had those same symptoms.

Hi !

For those who suspect the gastritis is caused by bile reflux, try taking Activated Charcoal. It has really helped me. :)

I take two capsules with each meal.

It has to be taken two hours away from meds or vitamins, however.

Do a web search and see if it might be something you are willing to try.

I know that it has got to be something internal.....that or....I just found out that I have a gluten intolerance. I have started a gluten free diet 2 weeks ago and still feel the same. Belching, chest and rib pressure/pain. So that Gastritis is still furious!!!!

Are there any tests for bile reflux????

Has anyone heard about Extra Virgin Pine Nut Oil? I found a few websites about it helping with gastritis and ulcers. Thought I would throw it out there....

I'm worried that if this persists and no one call tell me what is causing the chronic gastritis that it will continue to get worse and I will get stomach cancer or bleeding. Please help...

I have inflammation of the duodenum, had a Endoscopy last August!!

Anyway I since paid to have the skin ***** test done in May of this year, as I got a Dog and felt a little breathless, I am allergic to my Dog and cats and trees also pollen, He did some food on me and I am allergic to Peanuts, fish border line to wheat and egg.

The peanut one really scares me, but what I am trying to say is that it could be food that is making you bad , I wouldn't try the peanut oil until you have some tests you never know, If I did that it could have killed me!!

I only found out about all this allergies in May !! take care...Mandy
