3 years ago i was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma, and panic disorder..
since, i've been very inactive and done virtually no exercising.. (previously i had been an active player on the highschool basketball team and finished fastest among practice drills)
now i get winded very easily and i'm getting ready to turn 19 and i weigh between 130 and 140 and i'm almost 6 feet..
now i wanna start a workout and add some muscle but i'm afraid of what i might be able to handle..
so i was wondering if anyone who had a hand in working out could reccomend a workout for me..
wether it be weightlifting, jogging, whatever, i just need a push..
thank you.

Hmm... I hesitate to endorse anything considering your health situation, but I will assume you have the go ahead from your medical professional.

You should start out with the simplest of exercises. Walking and isometric resistance training. Do push-ups, squats, situps, lunges, etc. *without weights* until you can judge the effect on your body.

After a few weeks, you should be able to add resistance bands, or light dumbbells to increase the intensity.

If you like videos, Leslie Sansone makes some great beginner stuff. Mostly aerobic, but some have resistance included.

Take care...
