Good afternoon all:

Sorry if this is long and venting but I could use any feedback from whoever is willing to share techniques, diet, exercise...
I am a 5'4 130lb female. I would love to be 120 but I am a medium frame - broad shoulders very muscualr legs that I cannot pull fat on.
I used to be a maniac working out for two hours a day doing cardio with no weight training as I was self conscious doing weight traing in a gym for whatever reason. I don't belong to a gym but for the past year belong to Curves for Women. It is hydraulic strength training/cardio combined, I also eat fairly healthy, or not at all sometimes. (I know it's not good not to eat) I also try to walk every day fo rat least 30 minutes at a brisk pace - about 40 minutes for three miles. How can I lose the 10 pounds or am I healthy at this weight? I have friends who weigh the same and I think I look much more heavy then them and they think I'm insane... I miss a gym, but lack of time Curves is only 30 minutes so it's ideal for me. I would like to order The Firm video with the "fanny lifter" if anyone knows about that too please adivse.

Thanks, hope you all are having a WONDERFUL day.

A good rule to live by is to not compare yourself to others. It never has a good outcome.

Many of us are built from "sturdy" stock. I'm 5'3" have broad shoulders and am fairly muscular, so I'll never see the "ideal" 115 lbs. Do I care? Not really. Yeah, I need to lose a few lbs of fat here and there, but as long as I feel healthy I'm not going to stress over it.

Your weight is perfectly normal. Use a mirror to gauge your progress not your skinny friends. If you are still certain you have excess fat (not weight) then go for the FIRM videos. They are an excellent workout, especially for the lower half.
