After post menopausal bleeding my Dr. wanted me to have A Transvaginal Sonogram and that showed thickening so she said I was going to have a Hysteroscopy and D&C to see what was going on. She also did a biopsy and All Tests Came Back Normal. She Discovered That I Had Polyps And Scraped Most Of Them Out. It Was A One Day Surgery And I Was Fine For 6 Days Little Watery Spotting ,But No Pain .Then On The 7th Day I Started To Cramp And Bleed ,passing Small Clots. Of Course That Was After But Same Day I Had Visited Dr To Get Results Of Tests Which Were Ok. So I Called Her And She Put Me On Norethindrone (progesterone) 1 Tablet Twice A Day until Bleeding Stops. Then 1 Tablet A Day For A Week. Well ,After Taking One For A Week I Started To Bleed Again. Just Called Dr. And Am Going To See Her Today To Get Another Sonogram .I Will Let You Know The Outcome. I'm Not Afraid of Cancer Because Of My Tests But I'm Afraid I Won't Stop Bleeding and Will Have To Have My Uterus Removed.:angel: ps. Forgot to mention that I am overweight and I probably have an overabundance of estrogen because of it , hence the need for progesterone.
