Hello, I'd do aerobics/cardo and various forms of crunch, if I had to get rid of stomach fat. Also, keeping track of what you eat is a good idea too. You don't want to lower the carbs too much, because your body will need them for fuel to keep you going with the aerobics. You might want to get rid of the junk food, take-outs/fast food, and food that's loaded with fat. A rule of thumb that I use to decide if my food isn't full of too much fat is...only eat stuff where the total fat is in the single digits and the total fat for snack foods is no more than 3 g. For example: Fish and white meat chicken only have 1-5 grams of total fat and lean pork or lean beef have 8-9 grams, so that's ok....Hamburgers and chuck have 26-20 total grams of fat, so that's not ok....Fruits and vegetables make good snacks, since they are well below 3 grams of fat. You're still eating fat, but not too much.

Diet and CARDIO is the only way to lose fat anywhere on your body. When you lose fat through doing cardio exercises and eating less than you need to maintain your weight, you will lose fat. Whether you will lose fat in your belly is not guaranteed since you cannot pick the places where the fat loss will occur. With enough fat loss, however, you will eventually see the results allover, including your abs. Doing ab exercises will do nothing for fat loss but it will make your muscles tight and firm so that when you lose the layer of fat you will get to enjoy a nice, firm looking tummy, instead of flab.

Hey thanks everyone for the advice, i haven't thought of cardio exercises! i also heard that fast food and foods like that contribute to belly fat also! has anyone ever heard of the pill Relacore that is supposed to reduce tummy flab? i'd like to know what other people think about it?? And if anyone has ever even heard of it, and where to buy it?

There is no miracle pills to reduce body fat. Don't believe the hype, it's all a bunch of nonsense. The only way to lose fat is with diet and exercise, Sorry but that's just the way things are and people who pop pills will lose only money, not their fat, and be right back where they started, or worse.

yeah cardio should help lost fat i got confused when i read one of the post here.
I forgot who but i read a post made by someone here that it doesnt. I maybe misread but i think the person said cardio like running excercise doesn't help burn fat in the upper body, it just helps build leaner muscles in the legs and lower part of the body. This is because your running and putting alot of body weight into your legs or something...
im not too sure. lol
If i find the thread i'll post it!
Yeah running is good! :)

I have been taking relacore for 3 weeks now havent noticed a change in my belly, But i have noticed i am more alert through out the day with more energy! I am skinny everywhere else except my stomach and it drives me crazy! i wish there was something that would work, dont have much time for excersize because of my job and having a child. I will continue with relacore and let you know if it starts to work :)

If I were you I would not take any diet pills. My mother has taken several diet pills for years, and recently she has taken Relacore. All these pills provide is caffeine, which is not good having that your body will begin to depend on this. My mother has struggled with her weight, losing it and gaining it right back. Unfortunately, there are no miracle pills, the only way to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight is changing your pattern of eating and exercise for life. Many people will tell you that these pills work (temporarily), but as soon as you stop taking them you will gain all your weight back and some.

So far everyone has been right. The ONLY way to loose fat is through aerobic/cardio exercise and proper nutrition. You can spot train muscles but unfortunately you can not spot reduce fat and if you're anything like me, the belly's going to be the last to go but don't give up. Just keep a positive attitude and the scales along with pant sizes will start to drop. Cardio is any kind of exercise that keeps your heart rate up. Jogging, walking, bladding, swimming, tae-bo, kickboxing, anything really other than weight training. If you're a beginner then I just suggest starting out with walking and maybe getting some home aerobic videos. Then increase intensity as you go along.
Good luck.
Good luck.

belly fat is a sign (especially in women) of yo yo dieting. it means you have lost weight in the past from dieting or not eating enough generally for whatever reason and the first place the body replaces lost stores is that belly. I feel for you as my belly is big too, but it has shrunk, and all I do is eat enough and walk.
I don't do any other exercise. I have lost over 2 1/2 inches in my chest and belly mostly my belly,
RR I do it the naturally thin way.

 Dreamer, you are absolutely right. i started a walking program 2 yrs ago to help reduce my bp and cholesterol. I wasn't serious about weight loss until last Thanksgiving. I've lost 65 lbs and 12 inches from my waist. i still have 6 more inches to lose. I walk 7 days a week at least 4 miles per day.
