I wonder if neone could help me on here coz i dont know how much more pain i can take :(
I have been suffering with toothache for the past 4 days it is really painful down the side of my face and i have really bad earache with it, i have been taking ibrophen and paracetemol and using an icepack but they do not help all the time, i do not have a dental appoinment until the 17th of may and that is the nearest i can get as i need money to pay for it.
I have even tried the salt water and garlic methods but they did nothing except make me feel sick :/
If anyone has any pain killing ideas i be extremly grateful coz i have to work in a few hrs and the pain is keeping me awake.

Hes been taking ibuprofen about 1000mg (which i dont know if thats too much) but when hes at work he takes anacin which works pretty well when at work cause theres caffeine in it. The doc prescribe him vicodine but he dosent like how it makes him feel so he uses the stuff above. Hope this helps.

My boyfriend tried anbesol for the tooth and gum pain, but his pain was far worse for that, but maybe it'll help you.

What is really going to stop the pain is finding out what the source is and treating it. I don't want to scare you, but waiting could mean infection sets in and that is a lot more pain and money. If there is any way you can scrounge up to get to the dentist earlier, I highly recommend it. Until then.... Rinse, Rinse, Rinse. Hang in there!

I have been going thru the same pain until I couldn't take it no more, my appt. is for the 25th of May so I called the dentist and told him please give me a prescription for some antibotics while I wait for appt. They finally called a script for me, penicillin, it was less than 15 dollars for the 30 pills and it has really helped settle the tooth pain down to where I could actually function again...Bottom Line is if you reguarlly visit this dentist they should be able to help you while you wait...Jerry
