Hi. I have a question about using ortho tricyclen lo. My daughter has taken 3 weeks of active pills, then started 3 days later. The doctor started her on a Tuesday because she wanted her to stop bleeding.

Her flow is heavy on her 2nd day of bleeding and she is not supposed to start the active pills until Tues. Well, she has a school trip on Wed. and does not want to be bleeding.

Would it be harmful to start the active pills on Sunday, 2 days earlier, so that the bleeding will stop by Wed.?

I know it can take 3 months to calm done her cycle. I am afraid that if she starts the active pills on Sunday instead of Tues. that she may do more harm than good
