This is my first time being on the pill. I'm 38 years old and went on the pill because of extremely heavy periods and bleeding between periods. I told my doctor about my concerns about weight gain and he put me on Linessa.

I haven't gained any weight. However, for weeks two and three of the cycle I have sore breasts. The kind I used to get for maybe a couple of days right before my period. The first month I was nausious the first week, which thankfully has stopped. I'm also experiencing anxiety. Last month I cried at some point everyday for the whole of week three. Then when the break week started I felt immediately good again.

I'm in the second month and haven't felt as bad but I've just begun week three and am really dreading it. For those of you who have been/are on this product did you experience these symtoms? Do they go away? If so how long does it take to adjust. At this point I'm willing to put up with the mega bleed just so I can feel normal and not have breast that feel like they've been inflated with an air hose.

Takes at least 3 months for your body to adjust to the hormones your adding in your body.
