Hey everyone...well I had my baseline u/s today, and it wasn't good news. Apparently my ovaries are huge and they are just full of cysts! :mad: Now I have to start birth control :(

It's weird because I felt fine, no discomfort or anything, but I guess you never know what's going on inside.

I took it fine when AF came, but I was not prepared for this. I just got home and started crying because I am going on vacation in June, so now I have to take 2 months off. I talked with DH and while he's upset too, we talked and this way, we'll be able to save up more money for a few months and just kind of relax for a little while.

We're throwing around the idea of just going straight to IVF. I mean I'm still young (23), but I just get tired of endlessly spending money. I know it'll be worth it in the end.

Hi Laurie I am so sorry this is happening to u.I guess sometimes our bodies need a break and its just its way of making u take that break.I know how frustrating it must be but 2 months is not that long.Plus u can go and enjoy ur vacation.I will be praying that all goes well for u.

I know the drill with the cysts, believe me. I feel your frustration, but I know that doesn't make it any better. :)

I'm sorry to hear about the cysts thats gonna delay the process but am sure by the time you are back from your vacation they all will be vanished.

Just take it easy, relax and enjoy your vacation, take your mind off ttc and focus on having some fun. By the time you are back, the cysts will be gone and you will be back in the game.

Sorry to hear you have to take a break because of the cysts. It's really frustrating when you have to stop trying because of something out of your control. Hang in there though. That 2 months will fly by and before you know it, you'll be back in the game. And you'll be well rested from your vacation. The perfect place for your little one to make home for the next 9 months. :)

I am so sorry your cycle got XL for cysts!!! I have been there and it really is so frustating. I too had to wait two months to start again and it really is upsetting when you have to wait and all you want is to do all you can to have a child. IVF is a big step and many of us are just now about to embark on our first try at it. Whatever you decide know that you have a lot of support here and before you know it you will be right back on track. Hang in there and try to keep busy until then.
