I recently started using bi-est cream (2 weeks) and have the sense that it is not as effective as Vivelle dot patch. I'm thinking that b/c patch is worn all the time, that estrogen is steadily delivered vs cream that is applied twice daily.

The other thing that I've noticed is that I have side effects with using the cream that I did not have with the patch specifically breast pain and leg cramps.

Does anyone have experience with these two estrogen replacement methods?
