I am going to start Loestrin in one week I have no idea what to expect!
I have read that it takes up to 8 months for the Depo shot to leave your body! The shot messed me up inside and out. Please help me

Which type of Loestrin are you taking? There are a few.

Loestrin 24 Fe That is all I know.

Ok that is what I was taking until yesterday. Loestrin FE 24 is a 24 day BCP. It will shorten your periods by a day or 2 but it has the possibility of stopping your period altogether.

Before I was on Loestrin I was on Desogen but had sever migraines so I was switched to Lo. Gained a lot of weight on it 22lbs in 2 months. This is not the normal reaction with this pill. I just reacted to it this way. /sigh :rolleyes: I never had a migraine at all on Lo and my moods were peachy.

Most people haven't any problems on Loestrin FE 24. I'm not sure how you will react to this pill since you still have the Depo in your system. Someone else perhaps can answer this.

I read some where you can do a heavy detox to rid your body of the depo? Does anyone know of a good detox plan that is not spendy?:dizzy:

They have detox stuff at GNC and then there is the Master Cleanser. The stuff from GNC is 2 days and the Master Cleanser is 10 days that you can not eat on. That's the one that Beyonce did to get ready for her role on Dream Girls.

Not eat for ten days? I would die I can't w/o eating for three hours! I will try the 2 day. Thank you for your help!!! I hope it works! I am a mean crying mess. I feel like i should be locked up for a while! hahaha Hopfuly the loestrin wont do the same as the depo.

I have been on Loestrin24 for 2 weeks and 2 days today (to many). I am stopping today as well... Not to freak you out...as everyone reacts to pills differently BUT since day 2 I have been really sick to my stomach. I have been overly exhausted, even getting a coffee mid day just to get through the evening. I was dizzy for the frist couple of days, that went away but now I feel super emotional. I have been crying, arguing with my boyfriend, snapping at others....I feel like I am on the verge of a break down.... I really tried sticking it out through the end of the pack but I am not going to make it. I wake up in the morning still tired and my sleep is restless.... It is so weird... I feel completely out of my eliment. Thought I would share. GOOD LUCK!

I am doing the one from GNC I just started today. I am doing the GNC one instead of the Master Cleanser because I am going for Botox on Thrusday.

I was on my first day of the Master Cleanser the day I went for my Botox 4 months ago and I swear it washed the Botox right out of my body. It takes 2weeks for the Botox to work. I went back to my derm to get tweeked with more Botox after 4 weeks. It just didn't work that time and the only thing I did different was the Master Cleanser.

I used some detox tea that I found at my health food store! I could feel the depo leaving. My attitude changed and my skin cleared up in just a week.So I started loestrin 24 Fe on sunday. So far I feel good no problems!!

No I was never recommended to do the Detox after the Botox. I get Botox because I want it. It helps rid the lines around my eyes and raises my eyebrows.
I had started the Master Cleanser cause I was feeling crappy and needed to get rid of the toxins that were in my body. I was not thinking about the Botox being a poison when I started the Master Cleanser.

From now on I'll do the Master Cleanser 10 days before I go back for another round of Botox.

I'm doing the GNC Detox now. I am suppose to drink this green liquid 4 times a day for 2 days. It's kinda tastes minty. It's called Complete Body Cleansing Program. It doesn't say not to eat on it so I guess I can eat. I know it doesn't make me go to the bathroom and I don't feel any better yet. After just one day I felt better on the other Detox.

EIDT: Ok I take that back the one from GNC did make me go to the bathroom. Did it ever!

I hope you feel better! :D. Let me know if the two day detox helps you shed a few pounds! I have a few pounds tha no matter what I do (except cut my eating:D) I can't lose. I am always hungery I've tried hoodia, flax, silmfast, ect. nothing will curb my cravings!!

I'll finish the 2 day detox tomorrow. I don't go to the potty alot but when I do go I GO! Black funky stuff. No weight loss as yet but I started back at the gym this week and I usually gain so I don't think I'll be able to tell if I have lost any from the detox.

The Master Cleanser works for me. Lot's of icky jelly stuff in many colors came out of me. I'd say try it and if you don't like it then stop.

I used some tea that I found at my health food store called Triple Leaf Detox tea. It is nice on your system you can mix it with the Triple leaf Dieters tea for more results! After you do the main detox you can drink a cup every night! I can tell a difference!

I have been gone for awhile. I am on my second pack of pills I feel great!!! Although My boob's are growing like crazy:) . Weight has dropped off and my hunger has gone away. So far so good.
