I picked up my ambien yesterday and didn't see until I got home that the label did not say ambien but the name of the drug and the pills are different. I guess my insurance has switched me to an generic form of the drug.
Has anyone else used the generic kind? I looked on the internet and the name is right but coudn't find anything that told me what the generic drug looked like...I just wanted to make sure I REALLY had the right thing...after a yea rof the litlte white pills, the round pink ones caughe me off guard....anyone have a generic round pink pill in 10mg of...oh whatever the drug is..i forgot the name???? is it the same effectiveness for you?

My last prescription for ambien was generic made by Teva. That is why Sanofi Aventis is heavily advertising Ambien CR.
