Ladies please help me out, I'm curious to know when the change of life begins for most women.
I'm 42 and recently began dating a woman 12 years my senior, age 54. We're just friends currently, but it crossed my mind anout "the change". She mentioned on our first date she'd not planned on remarrying and I wondered if that may be part of the reason why.
I know nothing about women going through the change or how it's treated. I've heard some take hormones, does that keep things somewhat normal? Does it keep the sexual drive and all going?
Please help me out on this one.
Thanks!

It's different for everybody but at 54 there's a good chance she's in the midst of it if not already over with it. The way I understand it, sexual desire doesn't change that much but there can be vaginal dryness. If you two make it to the bedroom... you may need a lubricant. She'll probably have some on hand, knowing it's neccessary if it is.
I'm very impressed with a 42 year-old dating an older woman- good for you!!!
