Has anyone ever heard of this before. My RE just called and said that there is fluid in my ovaries and that might be saying that I have started ovulating on my own....and if that is the case we have to cance this cycle. He said there is a 50% chance that everything is ok. That is not making me feel very reassured. HAs anyone ever heard of this and then everything was ok??
Anyhelp would be great...I"m kind of freaking out right now!

Hi Tabaya~
I don't know about the fluid, but know that if it is around the ovaries, it is indicative of ovulation.
I pray that all is OK, and your cycle gets to continue! :)
Keep us informed!

Oh Tabya I have not heard of that. Isn't there something that they can give you to prevent ovulation on your own? Is it too late for that at this point? Well I hope they don't make you wait too long to find out. I'd be so sad for you if you had to cancel this cycle. Hang in there sweetie!

Tabaya,
I am so sorry this is happening to you. I wish I knew something about it to reassure you but I really don't. I really hope that 50% goes your way and you have not ovulated on your own. Did they give you anything to try to stop it. When will you know for sure what will happen next??
Good luck sweetie. IF can be so frustrating with so many setbacks.

Hi Tabaya!
My old RE used to do my u/s and he would always say "no free fluid" as he was writing in my chart meaning that i wasn't on the verge of ovulating because when the follicles release the fluid comes and is an indicator of ovulation. that happened on my first injectable cycle and i have used Lupron ever since to prevent premature ovulation. i had a little bit of free fluid once and we proceeded with IUI, but i don't know how much is too much. i hope this works out in your favor.

Tabaya, I'm sorry, I don't have any insight on this. I did have fluid in my uterus when I wasn't supposed to and that almost stalled my FET, but it cleared up on it's own. Hope the 50% swings in your favor!

Thank you all for responding!
I just got off the phone with my RE's nurse. We are still going to proceed with my US & BW tomorrow. She said my progresterone level was at 2.0, so I am borderline for ovulation, but she thinks everything will be ok.
So we will just see tomorrow at my US.
Thanks again to you lovely ladies!
