KJinKy 05-08-2007, 06:26 PM Well I had my 1st IUI today and all went well. DH's count was 38 million and they said that was really good. We will be going back in the morning for a second IUI and then it will be the 2WW.
Right now I am having some pain on my left side which is where the 2 big follies where. Could be ovulation, but i'm not sure.

So glad to hear everything went well & your DH's count sounds great!! Sounds like those pains probably were ovulation pains, which is a good thing. Good luck today. :)

KJinKy 05-09-2007, 11:36 PM thanks for you replies. Had my second IUI today and DH's count was 17million which they said was good for the second day. Pretty sure the pains were Ovualtion because after about 5 hours they stopped. I feel better today a little crampy but not bad. Now I'm in the 2ww. I will go for beta on may 23rd. They said to start progesterone on Friday.

KJinKy 05-14-2007, 01:03 AM Thanks everyone for you replies this board is the best. Sorry I haven't relied before not but I have been really busy all weekend. My Mom and family had a cookout for my birthday Saturday and the when we got home we planted half of our garden then Sunday we finished planting our garden and mowed our yard. Have a large yard so it to half the day. So far everything is going okay. Just praying it stays that way.
Sonin, Glad to hear i have some company this 2ww and good luck and lots of baby dust to you. Keep me updated.

sonin 05-16-2007, 02:25 PM Hi kelly,
Do you have any updates? I have one.
I had gone for bloodwork yesterday, I also took an HCG shot. The nurse just called me with the blood work results. My progestrone level is 11.9. She said it was normal.
I personally am thinking its on the low side.. Am getting very worried.
Does anyone have any suggestions whether the progestrone is truly in the normal range to support pregnancy?
Amy 333 05-16-2007, 02:31 PM Kelly.
Happy belated birthday. Hope that your birthday present will be belated to.
Sonin. Wishing you all the best for this cycle.
When are your betas scheduled for?
Amy
sonin 05-16-2007, 02:50 PM Thanks Amy,
I am not sure about my beta testing. my period would be around 5/22 - 5/23.
The doctor said if I dont get my period till 5/25, I should go in for preg testing.
Does that answer your question
and happy belated birthday Kelly.
Amy 333 05-16-2007, 03:03 PM I can t really answer your question re prog. If your dr said it s ok i don t think you should worry about it. However there seems to be so many different values for prog levels that i m kind of confused about it too.
Really hope this will be the month for you.
Amy
Viktorria 05-16-2007, 05:23 PM Sonin- each dr seems to have different progesterone opinions. On an IUI, I think that they assume your body will pick up the progesterone needs naturally, so they are comfortable with lower numbers (I've heard it has to be at least 10). With an IVF cycle, especially with FET, your body may not produce it's own progesterone as quickly and I've been told it needs to be above 25.
KJinKy 05-16-2007, 06:57 PM Sonin, That sounds like a pretty good number to me. With my first baby I found out when i was about 6 1/2 weeks and my progesterone was only 10.1 and of course that was low for that far along but they gave me progesterone suppositories and I was fine. This is from the paper the doctor gave me then.
Pubertal Stages 1 -3 : 0 - 0.6 ng/ml
Stages 4 : 0.05 - 0.13 ng/ml
Follicular : 0.02 - 0.9 ng/ml
Luteal : 3.0 - 30.0 ng/ml
Pregnancy 1st trimester : 15 - 50 ng/ml
3rd trimester : 80 - 200 ng/ml
Hope this helps.
I don't have any updates yet just staying busy as a bee so I won't obsess over every little pain. I'm staying positive though.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes. I'm hoping this will be a wonderful belated birthday pesent and I will have a BFP next wednesday. My Birthday was May 6th and I had my IUI's May 8th and 9th.

sonin 05-17-2007, 01:40 PM All,

joyiui 05-17-2007, 06:24 PM I am new to the Board (actually this is my first entry) Just reading these entries keeps my mind of things :) I had my 2 IUI's on Monday and Tuesday and go for my Beta on 5/28. I started prometrium yesterday. The 2ww is going to feel like a lifetime. I hope that everyone's 2ww goes faster than mine is going so far. I am going for child #2 (I have a 3 year old girl) and my first time around took 6 IUI cycles. Only time will tell :dizzy:
KJinKy 05-17-2007, 07:15 PM Joy, welcome to the boards. My 2ww has gone pretty good so far but know I'm beginning to get anxious. I have been feeling like AF cramps today, mild but makes me worry plus I have been super tired just wish I could sleep all day.
I also am trying for child #2, I have a son that will be 3 next month. After 12 years of ttc with mostly clomid until the last year when we did 3 failed injectable/IUI's and the while saving money for IVF miraculasly became preggo.
Good luck and maybe it won't take as long this time around.
Kelly
joyiui 05-17-2007, 08:14 PM Thanks Kelly,
My daughter will be 3 next month -- June 23rd. I can't believe how big she is getting. This is why I am hoping this try works for us. When I was prego with her, I had a stomach full of gallstones -- so needless to say -- it was an interesting pregnancy. At least this time around, when I get lucky and get pregnant, that stubborn gallbladder will not bother me :) I hope we get lucky and both get pregnant at the same time. I just have to keep my nerves in tact the next 4 days until I go for my progesterone blood work on Monday.
Joy
KJinKy 05-20-2007, 11:24 AM Wow Joy my son will be 3 on june 22nd that is awsome 1 day apart. Yes it would be wonderful if we both got our BFPs this month. I will be testing Wed. If I can wait I am almost ready to give in. They told me I could just HPT on Wed instead of coming in for a BETA so I guess I will do that. When you take your progesterone do you have like AF cramps? I use my progesterone at night and seems like the later in the afternoon that it gets the stronger my cramps I'm afraid that is a bad sign.

Hi Kelly,
I cannot believe our kids are a day apart. I went this morning for my progesterone blood test. I am a crazy woman. I do not do my Beta until next Monday. I take my prometrium every night because it makes me very sleepy. I had a lot of follicles this time around so needless to say the past couple of days my ovaries have been killing me :dizzy: I hope that is not a sign of a period coming on -- I always think the worst :) Hopefully it's just because of the follicles leaving my system. I do not have the cramps, per se, but I do have the pains in the ovaries. Because I had so many follicles, I have felt like I was about 6 month pregnant since Thursday and going to the bathroom all the time -- I do not know what to take of any of this  Well, have a great day and keep your chin up -- I am praying for a positive hpt for you this week.
Joy
sonin 05-21-2007, 11:47 AM Kelly,
