Good Morning ladies...

I have my surgery tomorrow (May 10th) at 1:30pm (mountain time) so that my skillful doctor can eradicate these abnormal cells in my body.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about it at this point as I've been obsessing about it for almost a month now.

I'm hoping and praying for the best case scenario....I hope that a few of you can remember me in your prayers today and tomorrow..

Oddly, the afternoon and the two days following my ckc were some the my most serene, relaxing days I can remember! I was so relieved to have it over with, that I just felt this incredible lightness. Also, I figured I'd be sore (and even if I wasn't that I deserved a few days to relax!) so I told my husband that I was staying in bed all weekend! With two little boys it had been years since I'd done that, but I really relished it! I let my family wait on me, I read magazines and books, I wrote a lot....it was pretty great.

All this to say, you'll be fine, and you'll be so happy to get it over with. Allow yourself a couple of days to really relax and reflect. It is such an emotional and scary time, that if you can use the recuperation time to focus on your mental health as well the physical it is helpful.
