I am home from my pelvic lymphadenectomy. Totally confused because all of my insicions are at my waist level and no where near my pelvis. I was too drugged to ask why when I left the hospital. Has anyone else had this?

I don't know, but surely someone here will know. I just wanted to say that I'm glad it's over, and I hope all tests come back clear as bells.

My Mum had her pelvic lymph nodes removed last year during abdominal surgery to remove an ovarian mass and her scar goes to her navel, no lower. I reaaly dont know how they manage to do it because she too had expected to have incisions around her pelvic region but none!!!
