"High Blood Pressure"]
Also, forgot to mention the racing heart that I have a lot. It seems that my symptoms are worse (all of them.....high blood pressure, heart racing, sleeplessness, burning sensations and anxiety) during the time I am on my period.
Right now, I am trying to start my period and it is mostly spotting. However, the symptoms (which I assume are from my extremely low estrogen level)have drove me nuts since Sunday. i have the racing heart beat and the shaking on the inside. I went to the emergancy room on several occassions, sometimes i feel that i am loosing my mind. this phase of my life is a real trip. hope you are coping better then i am and if you have any suggestions please share. thanks dpalmore

I am post-meno for 3 years...but within the 8 peri years, I went to the emergency room at 2 am one time...I was up since it woke me at 10pm..couldn't get back to sleep because every time I would lay down the fluttering/ shaking on the inside would start again...
I have high blood pressure so I was sure this was something wrong...
So I woke my husband at 2am and off to the ER we went, by the time they called my name the fluttery feeling was gone. I actually felt it just stop. The next day I was determined to find out what this was, so I went on the internet, Finally I read how many others were going thru the same thing.
I heard that it was a Magnesium deficiency, so taking a Calcium/Magnesium supplement in the morning helps, so I take one in the am...one at 1 pm and the other 2 at bedtime...kind of like a natural tranquilizer..helps a lot with heart flutters and the anxiety. Good luck, nancy
