I had an EP study and ablation for SVTs since I do not respond well to meds and have low blood pressure to boot.
The EP study could not be completed becasue my main arteries are abnormal. The ones that come from your groin area are suppossed to come together as one before entering the chest. Mine do not they stay split and one enters the top of my heart and one the bottom. I did not fully understand what that meant util looking up pictures online. Geez doesnt seem good?
Plus once they got into the heart they noticed my SA node ( natural pacemaker) was enlarged so although they began the ablation they could not finish it or the study do to the high chance of burning out the SA node. I was told I may get an MRI to map out a 3D picture of my heart and we will go from there.
Gosh anyone else know or experience anything about any of this. I was not scared before EP study after all it was ONLY SVT but now I am !!!
