Girls - I just went to get the needle ready for my progesterone shot and noticed that there are crystals in the bottom of the bottle. This is the first time I've ever noticed this. Now I'm worried that it has all crystalized and is not dissolved in the oil. It is only in the newer (specially mixed higher dosage) bottles that it is like that. I'm going to call the pharmacy and my RE in the morning, but just wondering if anyone has had this experience? I did an FET, so I still have no help from my body to produce progesterone, so if there isn't any left in the oil my levels will plummet. :confused:

Could you call a 24 hour pharmacy to ask? I'll be thinking about you.

I ended up doing 2 shots last night, one with the higher dosage that had the crystals and one of the lower doseage without. I figured too much was better than not enough in this case.

I called the pharmacy this morning and they said it's not a big deal, it happens sometimes, but it is not the active progesterone that is crystalizing. They assurred me that the progesterone I needed was still in the oil. Just to be safe I called one of the nurses at my RE's office and they said the same thing, so I feel better (unfortunately my tush isn't feeling better after two shots in one night, but I guess peace of mind out weights the sore tushy!) :wave:

I'm feeling pretty good. I got to see my regular OB on Friday and he was so excited for me. He's been through alot with me so I really trust him and got to ask him about exercise and things that I want to do that my RE says I can't. My OB's wife also conceived through IVF at the same clinic I go to, so he's really knowledgeable. He said I can start jogging again, that the RE tends to want to keep you in a bubble, but there is nothing to suggest that light exercise is harmful to the baby, actually just the opposite.

I'm still on pins and needs this week though. Monday is my next u/s and I'll feel better at that point, b/c I'll be past the spot that I was when I had my last m/c. No more spotting though, so hopefully everything is going great in there!
