Sorry if this is not the right place to ask. But I have a concern. I don't know where to start but I'm afraid I have HIV. I've had these thoughts for about 4 years now. I'm now 20. I started learning about HIV when I was in high school and I'm afraid I have a lot of the symptoms. I feel like I'm psychic and I feel like I know I have this disease. I'm not the only problem. I think it has spread to family members. Siblings, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins. They seem to get sick a lot when they are around me and I get freaked out when they are sick because I think they have gotten the sickness from me. I'm just really scared and I don't want to see no one die from it. Especially my Grandma who is old and I think could of gotten it from one of my cousins who got it from me. Times running out for me and I'm scared to bring out the truth and I don't know how to bring it up or who to. Can someone give me advice on what to do? Will I get in trouble for knowing this whole time that I had thoughts of having it and passing it on to other family members and not saying nothing this whole time?

Relax, get tested.

How do you think you acquired HIV?

The odds of passing it on to family members are pretty slim.. you're not having sex with them or sharing needles are you?? You can't transmit HIV from sharing the same utensils, or sharing a washroom etc.

Sorry if my post was a little strong. But no I'm not having sex or sharing needles with them. I'm not sure how I would of gotten it... I've never had sex up until 20 before I was having symptoms. When I was a kid I would never clean the public toilet seats before using them because I didn't know about HIV. I would just do a lot of things like that. And how I think they got it from me... sharing drinking cups or washing dirty plates that I just ate from in the sink.

But as you said above you can't get it from sharing same utensils. That's my mentality on how you can get it. So where does the constant sickness come from? Can it be germs from the utensils, or just allergies maybe etc.

You're fine. I don't know why you get sick, but it's not HIV.

Go get tested.. it will clear your head.

you better get your facts straight,i highly doubt you have hiv.
go get tested and then you will know your status, from what you discribe it is impossible to pass it that way.
